Okinawa is Japan’s southernmost prefecture and home to Shibui’s Single Grain Whisky Distilleries. The sub-tropical climate produces an accelerated cask maturation environment and using the grain of Asia, Shibui creates a unique and distinctive style known to the locals as Ryukyu Whisky – the ancient name of Okinawa.
